Bows don't stand a chance in her hair anymore, starting a few days ago. (9/24/08)

Updates: Sarah does not like the stoller or sitting in the shopping carts much these days! She is walking like a champ now. Still falling here and there, sometimes looking tipsy, but she can go the distance. She loves to play silly games and laugh. Chris has been sick this week. Even though I am only 18 weeks preggers, I look like I did at 7 months with Sarah! I started teaching CCD to first graders on Monday, first sonogram is next week... that's all for now!
p.s. Did you hear about the 6 day old baby who was killed in her crib by the family dog? Yep, very sad... http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2008/09/dog_bites_newborn_baby.html

Happy First Birthday, Sarah!

Chris surprised Sarah with balloons everywhere!

Looking in awe and wonder at the balloons...

Opening a gift from Daddy sure is fun.

Ahh.. zucchini, balloons, and being outside... what a great birthday!

Sarah did not like wearing her blinking birthday tiara.

Sarah's first birthday cake - made with love from Mommy..Daddy did the decorating.

Birthday girl with grandma.

Daddy had his own ideas of what kids should be blowing candles off of on their birthdays. He is convinced they all like bananas over cake much more.

Presents, presents everywhere!

Labor Day

Smiles come easily for these two when they're together... What a sweet trio of girls... Nothing like a good game of bocce... Anthony looking cute in his soccer uniform from his game... Mia and Sarah enjoying some alone time...
Sarah sure fell in love with the stool she received for her birthday. Look out sink... here she comes!

Updates: Sarah is unscaved from the dog incident. Ear looks great, and is healing just fine. Her appetite is good, we are so happy she eats pretty much anything, and loves her veggies and fruit. We sure are mean parents in that we are pretty strict with her diet- just all healthy and boring stuff... Weaning is going to probably happen soon, and will be hard on both mom and baby...Her newest thing in the past few days is placing the back of her hand on her mouth and doing an "indian" sound. It is funny. She loves to clap again lately at everything, and waves hi and bye to everyone. She also loves to dance... she really likes pushing buttons on things that make sounds (few ex's: singing plant at grandma's, groundhog at Jeanne's, horse at Nonna's) and when the music comes on, she boogies away. Where in the world did she get her coordination? Certainly not from me!

First steps

Sarah started walking this past Friday - Aug. 29. You can't tell from the following photo, but it's true... Maybe she will have it down pat by her birthday next Sunday! This age I must say is so fun. She is all smiles and laughs and is so curious always...
