Girls Day at the Pool

Thanks to Katy's prodding, yesterday I took away all my dignity and pride and stuffed myself into a swimsuit to take Sarah to the pool. It was the first time we have gone this summer, and Marco and Chris stayed home. Sarah was not frightened, but a little guarded initally. Luckily, Katy's nieces helped ease her more into it. I hope to enroll her in lessons soon. I loved going to the pool growing up, it was how I spent most of my days in the summer, and hope my kids will too. One of the only perks of our old place was the pool was so close (up a few steps from our front door). While Robinson pool is still close to us, we sure were spoiled with having a pool right next to us last year.

He still smiles, even if he can't come swimming yet.
Sarah practicing on her floaty prior to leaving the house. Boo to the pool for not allowing us to use it. Side note: her hair here is in it's first ponytail do - courtesy of Chris.
Diva enjoying playing with her friends phone, even at the pool.
